Tranquiliti

UX/UIAIDataMobile App

Tranquiliti is a whole-school wellbeing platform for UK secondary schools, giving every student a weekly voice and every teacher the data to turn early signs of struggle into timely, meaningful support.

Built on a validated wellbeing model and used across schools and academy trusts nationwide, Tranquiliti reframed mental health support as something proactive rather than reactive, reaching thousands of students across the UK.

The Brief

We were approached by Tranquiliti in 2019, shortly after their first investment from Resurgo Partners and Bethnal Green Ventures, to turn years of user research and a children's mental health framework into a real, working product. They needed a partner who could build the UX and MVP of their student app, translate their wellbeing research into a robust data model, and do it all while handling some of the most sensitive personal data imaginable. As a studio with social impact at the heart of what we do, it was a natural fit.

The Solution

We built Tranquiliti as a unified platform across three connected surfaces: a cross-platform student app for weekly wellbeing check-ins, a multi-tier analytics dashboard for teachers and pastoral leaders, and a live classroom discussion tool driven by student votes and designed for the projector screen. Beneath it, we engineered a data architecture that grew from an proof-of-concept pipeline into a fully relational system capable of modelling the real complexity of schools at academy trust scale. Our partnership ran from that first MVP all the way through to acquisition by TES.
